Memory requirements: If you have a G4, run virtual memory, and have your monitor set to millions of colors, then MaxPianoReader will ask for as much as 16 MB of ram.If on the other hand you run an O40 machine, NO VIRTUAL MEMORY, and set your monitor to a minimum 16 GRAYS then you can run on as little as 4 MB. If the program won't open or returns an "error type 2" then it means you have insufficient RAM available. If this happens then reduce
the monitor settings and or disable virtual memory or make more memory available.
This release is distributed with a sampling of eleven music files ranging from training level to extremely challenging. It includes Salsa and Serial music examples from our advanced music library. When selecting music from the menu panel you only need to CLICK ONCE and wait a few seconds for the new music to load. Purchasers of the program receive new music every month. Please note the music files must be kept loose in the SAME folder as the application else the auto loader will not find them. You may re order the music files to suit your level. If you change the name of mpr8 to mpr1 it will load when the #1 button is pressed, but all music files must be named "mprX" no capitals or spaces, and X is a number between 1 and 30.
Please note that you cannot use the music files from version 3.0.1 with this new version. The music files for this program have a custom icon - a screen and three music notes, only those have the correct format.
